DiD COMPANY

Our DiD Company team members are dancers who want to dance at the competitive level and perform outside of the studio setting. Dancers will commit to at least four hours of classes per week and at least two hours of company rehearsal per week. All members must audition, parents attend a parent meeting, and sign a Company contract.

Mandatory classes for all full DiD Company members are: Ballet; Acro; Leaps, Turns & Technique; Contemporary; and any electives pertaining to the dancer's competition dances. Dancers will also be required to attend rehearsals for any solos, duets, trios, or group dances.

For dancers wanting additional dance experience solely in the area of Hip Hop and performing duet, trio, or group dances, we have the Hip Hop Special Team. For those who want more experience dancing without having to compete, there is the Convention Team.

Hip Hop Special Teams

Mandatory classes for all DiD Company Hip Hop Special Teams members are: Hip Hop; Leaps, Turns & Technique; and Acro. Hip Hop Special Teams dancers will also be required to attend rehearsals for any duets, trios, or group dances.

Convention Team

The Convention Team attends dance conventions throughout the Spring and does not compete dances. They may, however, participate in special DiD Company performances. Mandatory classes for the Convention Team are: Ballet; Leaps, Turns, and Technique; and one non-technique elective of choice.
