Service Description

Improvisational dance is expressing oneself artistically through unplanned movement. In this class, dancers learn and practice how to execute raw movement stemming from their own artistry. This class also teaches how to use this technique to create original choreography and provides tools that can be used to enhance their choreography. From time to time, the Improv class is replaced with a surprise class that can be any form of dance from drill team to salsa to line dancing to musical theatre. Some Surprise classes will only be available for dancers ages 21+. Check the class description and/or our social media for details about Surprise Classes. Surprises are announced at least one week in advance. Booking through this website is only for drop-in classes. Cancellation Policy

To cancel a drop-in, please do so at least 24 hours before the date of the class. No refunds or credits will be offered for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance. By registering for this class online, you are agreeing to the following: I HEREBY INDEMNIFY, RELEASE AND FOREVER HOLD HARMLESS Diversity in Dance, LLC and its owners, operators, staff, employees, and contractors (collectively, “DiD), from any and all claims of liability arising from any accident, personal injury, death, property loss or damage sustained by my child(ren)/myself/the minor child(ren) for whom I am a legal guardian (“Participant”), while Participant is engaged in activities connected with DiD, including classes, rehearsals, performances, or other activities, or is located on any of the premises utilized by DiD before, during, or after such activities. I understand that dance activities have inherent risks of injury, and, being fully aware of all risks, I consent to have Participant participate in the classes and activities offered by DiD, and I accept full responsibility for providing adequate health and accident insurance coverage for the protection of Participant. By accepting and consenting to this statement, I declare that Participant is in good health, without physical conditions that might prevent participation in strenuous and rigorous dance activities and other training and performance activities. I understand that I should be aware of Participant’s physical limitations and agree not to exceed them. I understand and acknowledge that because of the physical nature of dance, there may be physical contact between instructors, teachers, and students during rehearsals, shows, workshops, productions, and especially during dance instruction. I understand that at times for proper instruction and safety, physical contact is required and necessary. I and Participant agree to obey the class and facility rules and take full responsibility for my/our behavior in addition to any damage I/we may cause to the facilities utilized by DiD. I authorize & agree that DiD may take and use photographs and/or videos of me and/or Participant for purposes of advertising and business use, including, but not limited to, newsletters, displays, fliers, social media, website content, brochures, advertisements, fundraising letters, reports, press kits, and submissions to journalists, & other print/digital communications ("Media"). I waive the right to inspect or approve such Media.
