Cancellation Policy

To cancel a drop-in, please do so at least 24 hours before the date of the class. No refunds or credits will be offered for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance. By registering for this class online, you are agreeing to the following: I HEREBY INDEMNIFY, RELEASE AND FOREVER HOLD HARMLESS Diversity in Dance, LLC and its owners, operators, staff, employees, and contractors (collectively, “DiD), from any and all claims of liability arising from any accident, personal injury, death, property loss or damage sustained by me (“Participant”), while I am engaged in activities connected with DiD, including classes, rehearsals, performances, or other activities, or is located on any of the premises utilized by DiD before, during, or after such activities. I understand that dance activities have inherent risks of injury, and, being fully aware of all risks, I consent to participate in the classes and activities offered by DiD, and I accept full responsibility for providing adequate health and accident insurance coverage for my protection. By accepting and consenting to this statement, I declare that I am in good health, without physical conditions that might prevent participation in strenuous and rigorous dance activities and other training and performance activities or that I have accurately and adequately disclosed such modifications and assume the risks. I understand that I should be aware of my physical limitations and agree not to exceed them. I understand and acknowledge that because of the physical nature of dance, there may be physical contact between instructors, teachers, and students during rehearsals, shows, workshops, productions, and especially during dance instruction. I understand that at times for proper instruction and safety, physical contact is required and necessary. I agree to obey the class and facility rules and take full responsibility for my behavior in addition to any damage I may cause to the facilities utilized by DiD. I authorize & agree that DiD may take and use photographs and/or videos of me for purposes of advertising and business use, including, but not limited to, newsletters, displays, fliers, social media, website content, brochures, advertisements, fundraising letters, reports, press kits, and submissions to journalists, & other print/digital communications ("Media"). I waive the right to inspect or approve such Media or to be compensated for such use.
